How do diversity and inclusion transform from temporary projects into permanent structures? As part of its 30th anniversary year, Cultural Centre Caisa is organizing a celebratory seminar that brings together actors from the culture and arts sector. The seminar aims to reflect on how diversity and inclusion can be promoted sustainably as a long-term part of organizational structures and operating cultures. In the spring of the anniversary year, Caisa examined its own 30-year journey as a promoter of diversity, looking at how the organization has developed its expertise and practices over the years. In the autumn anniversary seminar, the perspective expands to the entire cultural field. Caisa invites cultural and arts organizations to share their experiences on how goals related to diversity and inclusion have been successfully transformed into permanent practices and operating methods. The starting point of the seminar is to shift the discussion from individual projects toward structural changes. The purpose is not to highlight flawless organizations or to evaluate actors, but to learn from concrete solutions that have remained a part of organizations' regular operations. What kind of changes have been made? What has been learned from them? How has change been integrated into the daily life of the organization? The goal is to strengthen the dialogue on how to build sustainable structures for promoting diversity and inclusion in the cultural sector, and to share practical lessons that other organizations can draw from in their own work. For whom?
